Hey everyone, this weeks blog is about the scariest thing that I have ever done or the scariest thing that ever happened to me. I spend most of my time indoors playing video games, so I don't have anything scary going on with my life. Which is a good thing in my life, but bad for this blog. Okay, so after some thought, the scariest thing that ever happened to me was when I was 6 and my family decide to go on a vacation to the snow.
So you may be wondering what happened to me in the beautiful snow. So the first day we got there, we took a 10 hour flight to the place, then a 6 hour drive to the top of a mountain where our cabin was. It wasn't like a big mountain, but kind of like a Kokee. We weren't in a town or anything, we were 5 miles into the forest from the main road and we had a neighbor half a mile away. Okay, so I was out cold when we got there so my parents decided to leave me in the car to sleep while they unpacked. But the car that we rented was a different car then at home, so it had something like auto lock. And my dad left the keys in the car like it was no big deal. So I ended up asleep in a locked car with the keys inside. After about an hour, the snow on the roof built up, broke and a ton of snow fell on the car and it woke me up. And it was a lot. My parents and sister ran out and saw it, and they didn't even know it was locked yet because it was covered. I mean covered. My dad grabbed a bucket and my mom used her hands and they went at it. My sister took a picture and started helping too. I wish I had it, but after 7 years, it makes sense if I lost it.
Why was that scary? Well, isn't it obvious? I was trapped in a small car in the middle of no where buried in snow. It was like a avalanche. The snow falling on the car sounded like a avalanche, and I was just as panicked. I was only 6, so I didn't know how to unlock the car and it was pitch block with only cracks of light here and there. Very, very scary. Way scarier than catching a spider. I didn't know what to do, I just sat down breathing heavy, banging on my window while I heard my mom's faint screams and my dad's grunts.
So, what happened in the end. Well, I am alive so it went good. So after a few minutes which seemed like forever, my parents and my sister finally cleared of the snow to show one side of the car. I heard my dad telling my mom the car was locked and she looked at me and freaked out from what I remembered. I have never seen so much fear in their eyes which made my scared for myself and scared for them even though I was in trouble. It did calm me down to see snow for the first time, but fear overtook that too. I thought they had to call the fire department but we were like 50 miles away from the nearest fire department. It would of taken them like an hour to get here. So my dad tried smashing the window, but that window was strong. So finally, my mom was able to show me the button to role the window down. I was saved. After that mess, they cleared the car while I ran and played in the snow for the first time. Best and worst day of my life.
In conclusion, that was the scariest thing that ever happened to me. I can't get any kind of video or picture with this, so I guess I will just have to end it here. See you later guys! Looking forward to read your scariest moments.
