A New Year... The Past Me

Hey guys, Ben back with another blog. For this week's blog, I have to reflect off of last Quarter and see if I have gone through with the things I said I would change or improve on. If you forgot (Which I know you did) the things I said I wanted to improve on are staying on track, getting things done on time, and teaching my partner Tristen. So lets get right into that...
First, did I improve on staying on track? Yes! Yes I did. And surprisingly, it helps a lot. Last quarter I was kind of trying it out and taking my time, but since we got back to school last week, I was able to get a lot done in 2 days. The day before we left for Winter break, Tristen and I got 80%  of the info we needed for radios. And when we got back, I got the rest of the info and completed Wednesday's Radio Script. That Thursday, I helped Tristen finish Monday's and Friday's because he was struggling, and I finished my PSA Script! So yeah. Staying on track helps.
Second, did I improve on getting things done on time? Well, yeah I did. In a way. Was always able to turn in big things on time like our 2d Quarter Project, but the little things like homework and blogs... I did turn in them on time, but I am going to stick with the "Last minute thing," because it always seems to work for me.
Lastly, did I teach my partner. I will be honest, I tried my best last quarter, but I didn't have much time. It was a pain to schedule everything, and work on everything, along with radios, I didn't have the time to teach him. But this quarter, since we all have a easier project and I don't have to worry about dragging Tristen behind me the whole way, so I will now find more time to teach time the way I wished. We are constantly face timing each other with him asking we questions about radios that I did answer, and when we got back to school, he seemed to be doing better.
I conclusion, I didn't do everything I wished to do, but it all turned out for the better. I look forward to reading my partner's blog to see what he has done over the quarter. Bye!

You need to work on being more positive in your comments about working with your partner. When you write things like, "...I don't have to worry about dragging Tristen behind me the whole way" it sounds really negative. Remember that you are his MENTOR this year and as the returnee student, you need to support him as much as possible. Remember when you were the new student last year? Don't you want your partner to be trained as well or better than you were? You could be a positive influence in this class if you had a more positive attitude.
